Waterborne Systems

For the use on metal substrates

Application

  • Protective layers based on epoxy technologies, suitable for steal , aluminium and zinc substrates
  • reactive 2 c or 2 c blocked coatings, VOC content < 5 %

Thin layer or thick layer coatings applicable to aluminium and zinc substrates

  • No requirements to pretreatment (formation of conversion layers).
  • very good adhesion

Corrosion protective coating for engine components axle parts and attachment parts

  • high resistance against operating materials
  • very high stone impact resistance

Advantages

  • air-drying up to forced drying at low temperatures
  • high mechanical and chemical resistance
  • black coloured or transparent coatings.
  • all purpose
  • application before or after the assembly
  • no emissions of organic solvents (VOC)
  • chemical cross linking (above 45 °C)
  • excellent corrosion protection
  • no need to pretreatment and formation of conversion layers

Mechanical impact protection

Mechanical impact resistant coatings

Permanent anti-corrosive coatings for industrial units.IATC have a number of very strong stone chip resistant coatings that forms a thixotropic surface.

Characteristics

  • Waterbased solid content 30 – 60%
  • Solvent based – solid content 40 – 85%
  • Free of solvent – solid content 100%

Application

  • Cold application. No heating need.

Advantages

  • Underbody protection with 100% solid content
  • No emissions
  • No oven required
  • High efficiency
  • Applicable at room temperature
  • No dripping after application
  • Oxidative drying

Transport and storage coatings

Transport and storage coatings

Protective systems for industrial surfaces. Full protection from the factory to the end-user. Forms clear dry wax based surfaces. The system can be 100% biodegradable.

Characteristics

  • Water based – solid content 25 – 30%
  • Solvent based – solid content 12 – 30%
  • Wax based building on acrylic hydro carbons.

Polymer based

  • Water based – solid content 10 – 25%

Application

  • Wax conservation
  • Co-polymer- / acrylic preservation

Surfaces are preserved by an automatic spraying-system located at the manufacturer. Surfaces are protected during transportation and storage. The manual de-watering process is done at the end-users.

Advantages

  • Polymer based (acrylate)
  • Free of emissions
  • Full protection
  • Resistant against scratches
  • Also suitable as assembly protection

New: The waste water problem is solved by using removal agents without amine.
